How to Read the Activity Logs After Creating Your Agent

Use the Activity Logs to monitor exactly what your Agent is doing—step by step—as it builds and runs your campaign.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Overview

The Activity Logs give you real-time visibility into your Agent’s decision-making process. This is especially useful after launching a new Agent, as you can see how it translates your Campaign Wizard inputs into strategy, leads, and outreach.

This guide walks through the typical order of operations and explains what each activity log means.

1. Standard Activity Sequence (After Launch)

Here’s the expected order of actions you’ll see in the logs when a new Agent is created:

Creating Strategy

The Agent uses the inputs from the Campaign Wizard to build the overall campaign strategy, including:

  • Objectives

  • Cadence

  • Tone

  • Closing lines

  • Guidelines

  • Target persona

Once the status for this step is "Completed", you'll be able to view the campaign strategy under Settings > Strategy in the Campaign Editor.

Generating Content Strategies

Next, the Agent develops multiple Content Strategies—messaging styles it will test across leads.

Once this step is complete, you can view and compare these in the Content Strategy tab of the Campaign Editor.

Building Prospect List

The Agent searches CallSine’s contact database and pulls a list of prospects that match your defined persona and filters.

Enriching Contact

The Agent validates each prospect it pulled in, confirming that they:

  • Match your persona

  • Have accurate data

  • Are eligible for outreach

This step ensures the final list is clean and targeted.

Researching Prospect

For each validated prospect, the Agent runs additional research (e.g., company info, LinkedIn activity) to power personalized messaging.

Note: Once this step is complete, prospects will appear in the People tab. Click into a contact to view research and example messages.

2. Other Activities You Might See

Updating Targeting

If the Agent can’t find enough qualified prospects in the create_prospect_list step, it will try again—updating the filters it uses while still honoring your intent.

  • This step may appear multiple times as the Agent iterates

  • Each attempt refines the targeting until a viable lead list is created

This ensures your campaign doesn’t stall due to overly narrow filters

3. Activity Statuses

Each activity will show one of four statuses:

  • Pending – Queued, not yet started

  • Started – In progress

  • Completed – Successfully finished

  • Retry / Bypassed – Attempt failed but will automatically retry
