Before Creating an Agent
Do I need to create a separate Agent for each persona or vertical?
Do I need to create a separate Agent for each persona or vertical?
Yes. Each Agent is designed to specialize—much like a dedicated SDR—so separate Agents for different personas, industries, or geographies will perform better.
What information should I prepare before starting?
What information should I prepare before starting?
You should have:
A clearly defined target persona (title, industry, geography, company size, etc.)
Campaign objectives (e.g., book demos, schedule meetings)
Materials that represent your company’s products, value proposition, and tone
Any initial guidance you want the Agent to follow
During Agent Creation (Campaign Wizard)
Why is my Target Persona being rejected?
Why is my Target Persona being rejected?
It is likely missing key details needed for effective targeting. When you define your target persona in the Campaign Wizard, the Agent needs complete information to create proper filters and search our database effectively. If essential details like company size, specific job titles, industry, or location are missing, the Agent will flag the persona and ask for clarification. In general, each target persona should include the following:
Job titles and seniority levels
Company size or revenue range
Industry or company type
Geographic location
Any other relevant criteria
Can I include exclusions in my Target Persona?
Can I include exclusions in my Target Persona?
No, exclusions are not currently supported in how the Agent handles creating Target Personas
Can I just paste in my ICP doc instead of writing a persona query?
Can I just paste in my ICP doc instead of writing a persona query?
No. If you want the Agent to automatically find leads for you, you’ll need to provide a natural language targeting persona query.
That said, your ICP document can be a helpful starting point. You can adapt text from it into a query (e.g., “VPs of Sales at mid-size SaaS companies in Chicago”).
💡 Tip: You can also upload your ICP document as a Material. While it won’t function as a query, it will give the Agent additional context when writing outreach to your target persona.
Why can't I set my volume higher than the default?
Why can't I set my volume higher than the default?
The system caps sending volume at 20 new prospects per inbox per day. This limit is in place to protect deliverability and prevent inboxes from being flagged for spam.
You can always lower your daily volume if you’d like to run outreach more conservatively, but you won’t be able to raise it above the default.
If you need to reach more prospects each day, the best option is to add more inboxes to your account. Reach out to our sales team to learn about adding additional inbox capacity.
What if I don’t have Materials ready?
What if I don’t have Materials ready?
To complete the Campaign Wizard you will need to select at least one material for your new Agent.
[For assistance in adding materials in the Wizard → How to Upload Materials for Your Agent]
What makes a good Material?
What makes a good Material?
Good Materials clearly explain your value proposition, product details, brand voice, and industry positioning.
Tip: Upload only accurate, representative content—your Agent treats Materials as the source of truth.
Can I use a video, podcast, etc. as a Material?
Can I use a video, podcast, etc. as a Material?
Not directly. The Agent processes text only and can’t ingest video or audio files. However, you can upload transcripts of videos or podcasts in supported text formats (.pdf, .docx, .txt).
Note: The Agent will treat all transcript content as relevant—so remove off-topic sections before uploading.

Can I change my outreach channels after creation?
Can I change my outreach channels after creation?
Yes, you can update which channels (email, LinkedIn, phone) the Agent uses in the Campaign Editor settings, but only before you launch the campaign. Once the campaign is first launched you will no longer be able to edit any of the fields in the "Read Only" section of the Settings menu in the Campaign Editor.
Why hasn't my Agent brought in all the available prospects?
Why hasn't my Agent brought in all the available prospects?
Before launch, your Agent will only bring in a small number of prospects—usually between 3 and 12. This is intentional.
The purpose of this pre-launch step is to give you the chance to:
Generate test outreach
Review messages
Adjust the Agent using Guidance, the Style Guide, or other settings
This limited sample does not reflect:
Your daily outreach volume
The total number of prospects available to your Agent
Once launched, your Agent will begin pulling in prospects according to your volume setting and campaign parameters.
