How to Manage a "Manual Send" Agent

Learn how to review, edit, and send outreach when your Agent is set to Manual Send.

Overview

When an Agent is set to Manual Send, it will still source prospects, research them, and draft outreach—but nothing is sent without your approval. This guide shows you how to manage those drafts in your daily workflow.


Setting an Agent to Manual Send

You can toggle an Agent to Manual Send in Settings > Mail Accounts.

Daily Flow with a Manual Send Agent

  1. Find Draft Outreach

    • Go to your Manual Send Agent in the Campaign Editor.

    • Open the People tab.

    • Click View in People Table (this filters to only prospects assigned to that Agent).

    • In the table, click the Drafts column to sort by unsent outreach.

  2. Review Outreach

    • Click on the first prospect in the list to open their Person Profile.

    • Review the Agent-generated message in the draft box.

  3. Edit & Approve Outreach

    • Make edits in the text box if needed and click the Save icon.

    • To approve delivery:

      • Click Schedule to send at the time chosen by the Agent.

      • Click Send to send immediately.

  4. Move to the Next Prospect

    • Use the right arrow (top right of the page) to move to the next person in the list.

    • Repeat until all draft messages are reviewed and sent.


Best Practice

  • Daily review: Check drafts each business day to keep outreach flowing.

  • Switch back anytime: You can toggle the Agent back to Auto Send at any time. When you do, it will pick up automatically where you left off.
