Overview
Materials are a foundational aspect of training your Agent. They include web pages and documents that teach the system how your company operates, what you offer, and how you communicate.
That’s why, when you build a campaign using the Outreach Agent, you’re required to select reference Materials from those you’ve uploaded. These Materials serve as a key input for generating outreach that reflects your tone, positioning, and subject matter expertise—just like your best sales reps would.
1. Open the Materials Page
Where to Find It
Click on the Robot icon in the left-hand navigation menu. Select Materials from the pop-up menu.
2. Add New Materials
You can add content in three formats:
Websites: Click Add Websites to paste in one or more URLs.
Documents: Click Add Materials to upload files (PDF, DOCX, etc.) or paste plain text.
Note: CallSine’s RAG AI processes the text content of Materials. It cannot ingest images, audio, or video files. However, transcripts of such media (in plain text or document form) are supported.
3. Understand the Materials Table
Each row in the Materials table represents a single Material source. The table includes:
Type: Indicates whether the Material is a website or a document
Summary: Displays an AI-generated summary of the Material’s contents
Name: The URL, filename, or user-defined title
Tag: An optional label for filtering and organization
Valid: Indicates whether the Material is usable by CallSine’s RAG AI
Yes: The Material has been processed and is eligible for use in outreach
No: The Material has been processed but lacks sufficient detail for use
Not Validated: The Material has not yet been processed
Actions
Edit: Update the name or summary
Validate: Check if the Material meets the criteria for use in outreach generation
Refresh: Re-ingest the Material from its original source (for websites)
Note: When you upload a webpage as a Material, CallSine captures a static snapshot of the content at that moment in time. If the webpage is updated later, use the Refresh button to ingest the latest version.
4. Filter, Search, and Organize Materials
Click Show Search to filter Materials by name.
Use the checkboxes to select multiple Materials for bulk actions (e.g., Delete).
Use the Tag dropdown to assign or update tags for easier sorting.
5. Delete Materials
To remove Materials from the system:
Select one or more entries using the checkboxes
Click the Delete button at the top of the table
Deleted Materials will no longer be used by the Agent.
Why Materials Matter
Your Materials are what make CallSine sound like you.
When you upload documents or link to relevant pages, you’re not just storing reference material—you’re giving the Agent the context it needs to write with insight, clarity, and authority.
